MISS EMILY BROWN
MISS EMILY BROWN
The solo project of Emily Millard from 2004-2015. A creative exploration in songwriting and sound, Emily's unique approach to folk music meanders into the realms of pop and jazz with a subtly embedded electronic influence. Over ten years of live and studio performance, Emily developed a signature sound using a combination of eclectic instruments (autoharp, Hohner pianet, music boxes and steel string guitar) and her unmistakable voice. Supported by a rotating cast of Canada's most innovative young talent, she toured extensively throughout Canada and Europe, gradually carving her reputation as an uncompromising and authentic performer.
